Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Thursday received at his Msaileh residence a leading delegation of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, headed by the Movement’s political bureau member, Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouk.

Talks reportedly touched on the latest developments regarding the Palestinian cause.

Speaker Berri condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ continued aggression and violation of all humanitarian rules and norms in the occupied Palestinian West Bank and its cities, and their daily breach of Islamic and Christian sanctities in Al-Quds and Bethlehem.

Berri expressed surprise regarding the Arab and international silence towards the systematic killing practiced by the Israeli military machine and its soldiers against the innocent civilians of the Palestinian people in Jenin camp, Silwan neighborhood, East Al-Quds, Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and Bab al-Amud.

On the other hand, Berri followed up on developmental and services’ affairs during his meeting with Maghdouche Mayor Raif Younan, in the presence of Development and Liberation bloc MP Dr. Michel Moussa.
