Lebanese Democratic Party leader, MP Talal Arslan, tweeted Sunday on the previously-stalled Cabinet sessions, saying: "The government should return to its meetings immediately, and we hope that the Prime Minister, exceptionally, will hold intensive sessions, unlike what was happening with previous governments, to resolve many outstanding issues...The first decisions that must be taken are the ones that affect the daily lives of the Lebanese, such as electricity, the rights of public sector employees and teachers, in addition to strengthening the conditions of government hospitals in light of the increasing daily numbers of infections, and addressing the crisis of the communications sector...The parliamentary elections are very important and will occur, but people's livelihood and the economic situation are much more important!"
