Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Ali Al-Habhab, hosted a reception in honor of Minister of Industry, George Boujikian, at the Lebanese Embassy in Baghdad.

In his delivered word, Boujikian delivered a speech in which he said that during his first meeting with the Iraqi Ambassador to Lebanon, Haidar Al-Barak,  he sensed the latter’s motivation to establish a solid relationship between Iraq and Lebanon. 

“We then set out to prepare for the conference, which I consider successful, and secured bilateral B2B meetings between businessmen from both countries," Boujikian said. 

“Iraq means a lot to the Lebanese people. Throughout history, we have seen nothing but good deeds from the state of Iraq. Our aspirations with Iraq are more than just normal relations between two countries,” he added.
