A gunman opened fire on an Israeli army camp in the town of Tayasir, east of Jenin in the West Bank, injuring eight people, including two in critical condition.
Israel's public broadcaster reported that a Palestinian gunman arrived at the Tayasir checkpoint and fired at those present.
A video circulating on social media documents the moment gunfire was directed at Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint.
