Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has visited top Israeli and Palestinian officials in visits to Israel and the occupied West Bank in the aftermath of the ceasefire.
After meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafan, he wrote in a post on X that Italy wants to reaffirm its commitment to “build a future of peace in the region” and is “ready to do its part” in Gaza’s reconstruction through its humanitarian Food for Gaza initiative.
His office said Sunday Tajani will also co-chair with Israel’s Saar a meeting with the business community to discuss investment opportunities between the two countries.
