A second person has died following a fatal hit-and-run crash in Blanchardstown in Dublin.
A car struck four pedestrians near Blanchardstown Shopping Centre at about 17:45 local time on Thursday.
A woman in her 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene on Thursday evening.
On Friday morning, Gardaí (Irish police) said that a man in his 40s who was seriously injured in the incident has also died.
Officers said the driver failed to remain at the scene.
They arrested a man in his 40s in connection with the hit-and-run on Thursday evening and he remains in custody.
They have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision or who has camera footage of the scene to contact them.
