The Israeli military claimed it is "not acting against the Lebanese Army" following airstrikes that killed four Lebanese soldiers in two separate incidents.
In a statement carried by AFP, the Israeli army said it had targeted "an infrastructure site in the Sarafand area where Hezbollah fighters were active."
The statement emphasized that its operations are "specifically directed against Hezbollah and not against the Lebanese Armed Forces."
