The Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee claimed that Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi toured with the Northern Command leader and the 98th Division commander inside an underground Hezbollah compound in southern Lebanon, which was destroyed by Israeli forces over the weekend.
Adraee quoted Halevi as saying: "From this location, they could have launched an incursion into Israel. We intercepted it in time, and we must prevent this infrastructure from returning for decades."
