The Israeli army confirmed the killing of Hamas' military wing leader, Mohammed Deif, after weeks of targeting him in the Gaza Strip.
It stated in a statement: 'The Israeli army announces that on July 13, 2024, fighter jets targeted the Khan Younis area, and after an intelligence assessment, it can be confirmed that Mohammed Deif was eliminated in the strike.'
