Baalbek market came under heavy guunfire Tuesday night when an unidentified armed group using RPGs, medium and heavy caliber armor, opened fire, the state-run National News Agency reported.
The inflamed security unrest prompted the intervention of the Lebanese armed forces.
The shooting is one episode in a sequence of similar events that erupted after the death of Nader Yaghi and Hussein Tlais on Sunday.
Tuesday night, Rimas stores, owned by Ali Tlais, as well as Nader Yaghi's funeral place were targeted.
