PSP responds to Lebanese Democratic Party's statement

Progressive Socialist Party responded in a statement issued on Saturday to the Lebanese Democratic Party's claims that one of the elements of the Socialist People's Party had tried to storm the house of Minister Saleh Gharib.

"While Hisham Merhi was returning to his home without having any weapon, and while he was passing on the main road next to the house of Minister Saleh Gharib, the security guards of the minister's house opened fire at Merhi, causing serious injuries," the communique said.

The statement asked whether if "the passage of one of the Bsatin's sons next to the house of Minister Saleh Gharib will be considered an ambush, or a blatant assault on a citizen by the minister's guards who are Lebanese and Syrians?"
