Footage: Roy Khoury Dies in Tragic Car Crash

Social media platforms stirred Tuesday over an unusual new record. Lebanon miraculously managed to steer clear from any fatalities for a whole day.

But today's sorrows wiped out yesterday's joys with a staggering sixteen injuries and one death in less than 24 hours.

In Batroun, a military truck crash that wounded five people somehow caused a chain reaction across the country as two cars collided on Beirut’s Hrawi-Sayyah highway, blocking traffic.

Reported damages: Roy Elias Khoury was killed and Joanna Hadir suffered serious injuries.
