Prime Minister Salam leads a series of meetings

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam held a meeting at the Grand Serail with a delegation from the International Monetary Fund, headed by IMF Mission Chief Ernesto Ramirez Rigo.
Discussions reportedly focused on reforms and governance.
Premier Salam later met at the Grand Serail, with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, with whom he discussed the latest political developments and the situation in the south, as well as the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and UN Resolution 1701.
The Prime Minister also met with Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Alaa Moussa with whom he broached current developments and bilateral relations between the two countries.
Separately, Premier Salam received Moroccan Ambassador to Lebanon Mhammed Grine, who said after the meeting that he congratulated the Prime Minister on the formation of the new government and obtaining the Parliament’s vote of confidence.
The visit was an opportunity to explore the new horizons of the new tenure to develop relations between Lebanon and Morocco and between the two brotherly peoples.
Premier Salam then met Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Vahagn Atabekyan, over the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.
Salam also met with MP Camille Chamoun, with whom he discussed an array of national affairs.
