Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, expressed his sorrow and condemnation following an Israeli airstrike on a Civil Defense center in Douris, which claimed the lives of several personnel. Mawlawi wrote on X:
"The martyrs of duty continue to water the homeland’s soil with their blood, time and again. A salute to the souls of the personnel martyred in the Israeli raid on their center in Douris. Civil Defense heroes, along with security and military forces, will remain steadfast beside their people, responding to every humanitarian call. Condemnation alone is not enough; the conscience of the world must awaken and act."
