Israeli Warning to Southern Residents: 'Don’t Be Used as Human Shields!'

Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee issued an urgent warning to the residents of southern Lebanon, stating the following:

"Intense fighting is occurring in southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah elements are using the civilians as human shields to carry out attacks.

For your personal safety, we urge you not travel by vehicle from the northern area to the southern region of the Litani River.

This warning is effective until further notice."
