Caretaker Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam continued his efforts to gather humanitarian support for those displaced by Israeli bombardments in Lebanon.

Salam requested assistance in supporting and equipping shelters that have opened to receive the displaced, including schools and buildings, particularly the Quality Inn hotel at the Rachid Karami International Exhibition Center in Tripoli, which spans one million square meters dedicated to serving displaced families.
Salam expressed gratitude to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the Algerian people for their swift response in sending fuel aid to help Lebanon avoid darkness last month.
In turn, Ambassador Belbaki thanked Minister Salam for his visit and confidence in Algeria, stating, "We are children of Arabism and the Lebanese house, and we are always committed to standing with Lebanon."
