Iranian relief team sent to Lebanon

Iran sent to Lebanon a volunteer relief team affiliated with the Iranian Red Crescent, which includes 12 doctors, specialists, 12 nurses and paramedics, to relieve and treat those injured in pager explosions.
Iranian Health Minister Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi confirmed his country's readiness to provide any medical aid and support to those injured in the accident in Lebanon.
The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Pir Hossein Kolivand, in coordination with the Iranian Minister of Health, also announced the society’s readiness to send emergency treatment teams to Lebanon to provide services to those injured in the explosions. He stressed the association's readiness to transfer the injured to the country's hospitals to receive the necessary treatment.
