The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Guidance on Wednesday issued the following statement:
"As part of efforts to monitor and secure the borders amid the current circumstances and to prevent infiltration and smuggling activities, an army unit has closed the illegal border crossings of Matlaba in Al Qasr – Hermel area, as well as Al Fatha, Al Maarawiya, and Sheheit Al Hajeri in Machari al-Qaa – Baalbek region."
