Health Minister launches national vaccination campaign

The Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with UNICEF, the World Health Organization, and local partners, launched a national vaccination campaign targeting polio, measles, rubella, and mumps.

The campaign, initiated at a displacement center in Karantina amidst ongoing Israeli aggression, aims to protect children, especially in overcrowded shelters.

Caretaker Health Minister Firas Abiad emphasized the urgency of controlling epidemics, while UNICEF’s Edouard Beigbeder and WHO's Elissar Rady, highlighted the campaign's importance in preventing disease spread in vulnerable communities.
