The Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, claimed that "Hezbollah planted a large quantity of explosives under the homes of civilians in a southern Sunni village, specifically the town of Yarine."
In a post on his X account, Adraee alleged that "the Israeli army discovered a pit containing over half a ton of explosives, which had been placed there long ago, before the war and before the residents of the town were evacuated from their homes."
