Environment Minister Nasser Yassin confirmed, "We are racing against time to seek more assistance and focus on those displaced to schools, with the action plan to address people's needs having started a few days ago."
Yassin said in an interview with MTV: "The number of displaced people in shelter centers is increasing daily, and we are trying our best to help while working with the United Nations and international organizations to activate efforts."
Yassin pointed to serious diplomatic work happening in New York, adding, "Mikati and Berri are doing their best to spare Lebanon from war."
