Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized his rejection of any ceasefire in Lebanon. He stated that "any ceasefire negotiations will be conducted under fire, and we will continue to strike Hezbollah."
Netanyahu pledged to return tens of thousands of Israelis who were evacuated from the northern border areas to their homes.
He said, "I cannot go into details regarding everything we are doing, but I can tell you one thing: we are determined to safely return our residents in the north to their homes."
