Following the developments, Education Minister closes schools in these areas

Caretaker Minister of Education Abbas Halabi announced the closure of schools, secondary schools, institutes, and both public and private vocational and technical schools today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday, in the southern governorates, Nabatieh, Bekaa, Baalbek-Hermel, and the southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahieh). This decision comes after the unfavorable developments in the security and military situation in the mentioned governorates, which pose a danger to students going to the schools and educational institutions.

Halabi urged the directors of educational institutions to follow the official statements issued by the ministry regarding this matter.
