The Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, and Public Health, Firas Abiad, in the caretaker government received phone calls from their Iranian counterparts, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Health Minister Mohammad Reza Zafarqandi. They expressed their condemnation of the Israeli cyber attack and their condolences to the Lebanese government and people.
The Iranian ministers also offered their country's medical resources to Lebanon and confirmed Iran's readiness to send an aircraft to evacuate the wounded for surgical procedures, particularly for critical eye injuries. They also mentioned the possibility of providing a field hospital to assist the injured and wounded.
