The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced in a statement that all its ambulance units are transporting the injured to hospitals due to the security incident that has affected a large number of citizens in various areas.
It noted that ambulances were dispatched from centers across Lebanon to the regions where citizens sustained injuries from the explosion of the wireless devices they were carrying.
The statement highlighted that Civil Defense personnel are providing necessary first aid and transferring the injured to hospitals for the required medical care.
It concluded: 'Given that hospitals in the southern governorate have exceeded their capacity, our ambulances are working to transfer the injured to hospitals outside the governorate.'
