The Ministry of Public Health issued a statement announcing that its teams have been monitoring on the ground the aftermath of the Israeli aggression on the southern suburbs of Beirut. They have coordinated with emergency teams to evacuate the injured promptly to nearby hospitals (Bahman Hospital, Sahel Hospital, Al Rassoul Al Azam Hospital, Al Zahraa Hospital, and the Lebanese Hospital Geitaoui).
In the initial toll up to now, it has been confirmed that a civilian has been martyred and 68 civilians have been injured, including 5 critically. The rest have sustained moderate to minor injuries, most of whom have been treated in emergency departments and discharged from hospitals. As rubble clearance continues, the Ministry announces that it will issue updates on the toll of the aggression as they become available.
