The Lebanese Athletics Federation organized the National Individual Championships for men and women at the main track of Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium.
The four-day event saw the participation of 225 athletes representing 16 federated clubs.
The event was attended by the Director General of Sports and Scouting Facilities, Mohammad Oueidat, the Federation President, Roland Saade, Vice President Nadia Nehme, Secretary General Dr. Waseem Al-Houli, Treasurer Maria Kevorkian, and members Joseph Sassin, Philippe Bejjani, and Nadim Aboud.
A new national record was set by athlete Sama Mustafa from Al-Jamhour Club in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase (under 20 years), clocking in at 12:07.62 minutes, surpassing her previous record of 12:30.69.
At the conclusion of the competitions, medals were awarded to the top three finishers.
