Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, pursued his visit to the United States of America, where he met with Congressman Michael T. McCaul, who chairs the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Congressman Gregory Meeks, the Lebanese Army said in a statement.
It added that General Aoun also met with members of the Congressional U.S.-Lebanon Friendship Caucus. Talks touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the broader region, in addition to the needs of the military institution and the challenges facing it.
