Watch: First house demolition in Metula

A video has surfaced from the Metula settlement, where media outlets quoted settlement head David Azulai as saying: "It is a sad morning as the first house in Metula is being demolished today to rebuild after the extensive war damage." He noted that "since this morning, we have begun demolishing homes that were severely damaged during the war due to Hezbollah’s rockets."

Yedioth Ahronoth also reported: "We had hoped that residents returning to their abandoned settlements would find a better reality, not spaces filled with destruction, collapsed infrastructure, and an atmosphere of sorrow and despair."
