Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has met in Doha with Britain’s new Foreign Secretary David Lammy and Defence Minister John Healey.
An official Qatari statement said they discussed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as reviewing the strong bilateral ties between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister.
