MTV Website has won two awards for best Smartphone application in the Arab World.

The event hosted by the Excellence Awards Academy was held at Dubai’s Rotana Mourouj Hotel.

MTV Website grabbed the Golden Award for best Television Application category and the Diamond Award for best overall application.

MTV Website’s Digital Media Manager George Sfeir flew to Dubai to take part in the evening and receive both awards on behalf of the team heading and running the website.

“We have achieved a major leap forward over the past few months and are looking forward to an even more spectacular phase come 2016,” George said during his acceptance speech.
