MP Nicolas Nahhas on Thursday sounded the alarm on what he described as an extremely critical economic situation in Lebanon.
Accordingly, in an interview with the "Voice of Lebanon" radio station, the lawmaker pushed for a swift change in the country's political approach in an attempt to help remedy the dire economic situation.
"The government should start working on thrashing out the deteriorating economic situation, and not get itself busy discussing quotas and the next round of elections," Nahhas added.
"The reasons behind reaching this situation should be determined, and appropriate frameworks should be put in place in a bid to salvage the nation," Nahhas said.
