MP Mario Aoun on Wednesday maintained that the Maarab Agreement between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese Forces was still ongoing, but that all other political agreement between both sides no longer existed.
In an interview, Aoun accused the LF and the "Druze" of complicating the government formation.
Accordingly, he ruled out a near formation of the Cabinet, stressing that "the Deputy Prime Minister post is part of the President of the republic's share in the lineup, as per the practice and the Constitution."
Moreover, the lawmaker denied any disagreement between President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Saad Hariri, indicating that the latter will visit Baabda palace in the coming few hours.
