Footage: Treasure Trove Found as Man Flees Police after Crash 4 Photo Gallery

An unusual incident has occurred in Dekwaneh on Monday night, providing an easy catch for the security forces, although the culprit who had fled the scene remains unidentified.

A grey Kia-Rio vehicle rammed into a checkpoint barrier close to a construction site in Dekwaneh, after the speeding driver had lost control of the wheels. The driver bolted out at of the car at light speed before a Dekwaneh municipality patrol vehicle could reach his car.

Following close inspection of the car, the security forces opened an inquiry at the discovery of illicit content.

A Kalashnikov rifle with ammunition is said to have been found inside the car, alongside a selection of cannabis, cocaine, and personal items, including two cellphones.

MTV understood that the confiscated car is registered as the property of Mario Jack Kheir.

Reports, however, suggest that the car is likely to have been stolen and that the driver had used it to transport drugs to a close location, supposedly the Zeaiteria neighborhood in Fanar which is already billed as the drug dealers' central hub of the Metn area.
