FoRmer Prime Minister Saad Hariri said that today's attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait and France represent a new episode in a dubious and dangerous terror series, and whose only function is the misrepresentation of Islam and incitement of strife among Muslims.
“The terror blast that targeted the Imam Sadiq mosque in Kuwait and al-Sousse Hotel in Tunisia provides conclusive evidence that the evil cells which had concocted suicide attacks in al-Kutaif, al-Dimam among others, are the same as those recruiting deceptive tools so as to blow up mosques and hotels, distorting the image of Islam before the eyes of the entire world. They cause the death and injury of dozens of Muslims daily by calling for jihad so as to establish the Caliphate and spread extremist and mislead ideology over rubbles of razed communities," he deplored.
“Officials concerned with preserving Islamic unity and intercepting manipulators of Arab nations’ safety must pay heed that terrorism feeds on strife between Muslims,” he added.
“We raise our voice against terrorism and its criminal acts once again, we severely denounce the attacks that targeted Kuwait, Tunisia and France, and extend our condolences to each of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi and French President Francois Hollande as well as the bereaved families of the attack’s victims," Hariri concluded.
