According to al-Safir newspaper, detained soldier killers Omar and Bilal Miqati confessed to taking part in the assassination of Sheikh Saad Eddine Ghiyyeh in Tripoli.
In addition to slaughtering two individuals, one of which was Lebanese Army soldier Ali al-Sayyed, the Miqatis also confessed to killing First Adjutant Fadi Jbeili as he waited for a car to drive him to his post in Beirut.
The Miqatis also assassinated Fawaz Bazzi hailing from Bint Jbeil and terrorized a dozen of Alawites living in Tripoli's Jabal Mohsen by firing gunshots at their feet.
The two detainees also took part in looting activities as they burned a few institutions and properties in Jabal Mohsen and Tripoli.
The Miqatis also revealed during investigations that they had attempted to move from Arsal to the North, noting that they had laid out an alternative plan to join Usama Mansour and Shadi al-Mawlawi in Ain al-Helweh camp.
