Al-Jazeera channel broadcasted Sunday a new video showing Maaloula nuns who were kidnapped in December, reiterating their demand to be released.
The video was captured on February 5, according to a banner held by one of them.
The nuns confirmed that they are in good health and their kidnappers are treating them well, however they are still waiting to return home.
"We had wished to stay in monastery in Maaloula, despite the bombing because this is our duty," one of the nuns pointed out.
The nuns thanked all those who are exerting efforts for their freedom and expressed their acceptance being a bargaining chip or an award in return for the release of female prisoners from Syrian regime prisons.
