The head of the North Lebanon Merchants Association, Assaad Hariri, on Wednesday visited the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Mohammad bin Khalil bin Saleh Al-Jazimi, on a farewell visit upon the end of the latter’s diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
Talks between the pair reportedly touched on several economic and social issues, according to a statement by Hariri's press office.
The Omani Ambassador pledged to exert every possible effort to help the Lebanese people upon his return to his country.
For his part, Hariri thanked the Omani diplomat for all the efforts made by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Lebanon “with the help and support of Ambassador Al-Jazimi.”
