MP Fadi Karam confirmed on Friday that the relationship between the Lebanese Forces and the Future Movement was taking a "positive course".
He asserted that his political party was adamant on sticking to clear principles for a stage full of accomplishments, including parliamentary elections and the formation of a new government.
"The Lebanese Forces had met half way with the Free Patriotic Movement and the Future Movement during presidential elections, so it's only natural to follow suit during Parliamentary elections," the lawmaker said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
Moreover, Karam dismissed the accusations against the Lebanese Forces as mere attempts to pressure the political party.
"The position of the LF is clear in terms of not risking the electoral deadline," Karam added.
