List of Porn Sites Blocked in Lebanon

Ogero Director General Abdel-Menhem Youssef issued a decision requesting that six porn sites be blocked.

 

The decision, addressed to Internet service providers and data distributors across Lebanon, stipulated the immediate blocking of the following websites:

<http://www.metart-gallery.com>

<http://smallteenpussy.com>

<http://www.xnxx.com>

<http://xvideos.com>

<http://www.teensnow.com>

 

A source at the Ministry of Telecommunication told MTV website that Minister Boutros Harb is not aware of Youssef's decision and he is currently verifying its credibility in order to take an appropriate stance accordingly.

 

The said decision has sparked a series of comments from critics on social media; some considered the decision as a violation of their personal freedoms, deeming it as part of the series of rulings issued by ministries and other directories imposing censorship.
